Trying to locate new ing. On 1/17/25

Heating system, cleaned, tested and reset to factory specifications Tested all mechanical parts. Cleaned drain trap and all hoses. Cleaned all sensors. Tested and cycled system. System is operating and heating as it should be at this time. Performed free inspections. Customer renewed maintenance program. Will have spring and this fall of 2025 prepaid.

Furnace repair. Condensate tubing in furnace after trap was disconnected and didn’t have a clamp, used hose clamp to reattach which resolved the leak. No charge per Jake.

Plumbing repair. I found the main water valve and a 40 gallon slim water heater need to be replaced. Installed energy efficient Bradford White water heater. Test for safe operation. Remove old water heater and clean up work area.

Sewer and drain cleaning. Opened outside cleanout, found no back up, seconds later the backup from inside broke loose and everything is flowing well at this time. Possibly a paper clog, discussed a paper change with customer and advised she keep an eye and ear on it.

Commercial toilet repair. Toilet in back bathroom is leaking from tank to bowl connection. Attempted to tighten nuts to stop the leak but was unsuccessful. Recommend replacing toilet, waiting to hear back about approval.

Water on floor in laundry room and inside tray of water heater. Upon further investigation, found discharge hose for water softener right at top of floor drain, when softener discharged it sprayed water all over the water heater and the surrounding area. Resecured water softener discharge, and hung around for a little while to ensure that the water heater is not leaking at all.

Furnace repair. Relight pilot, we replaced gas valve last year. If pilot drops out, we’ll have to order new pilot assembly. Its purpose is to ensure that there is a readily available flame that can ignite the main burner when needed. NC

Ejector pump service. Inspected ejector pump and found the float switch stuck on. Switch mechanical failure. Over time, the mechanical components of the float switch, such as the float arm or switch mechanism, can wear out or become damaged, leading to failure. This can result from normal wear and tear, corrosion, or exposure to debris or sediment in the sump pit. I removed the old pump and replaced with a new 2” ejector pump. Tested pump and cleaned up the work area.
