Furnace repair. Intermittent heat, found inducer motor making loud noise. Did clean and check on furnace first due to filth of furnace. Then found extremely corroded flame sensor. Tested blower motor capacitor and was way below acceptable range, almost empty. Talked to homeowner and she did not want a new furnace even though from 97. Gave her estimates for all work including furnace and she said she just wants to fix the problems at hand. Replaced inducer motor, f.s and blower motor capacitor using a mfd 10. Cycled system. System is operating and heating as it should be at this time.

Could be a problem with the thermostat or the gas valve, not kicking on when it should lengthening the recovery rate. Flushed heater to remove any sediment. Found a loose wire which may have been contributing to the issues they were having with the soft water.
