Commercial heating repair. No heat on the rooftop HVAC unit. The pressure switch tubing rusted off the heat exchanger face plate. Connect the new copper tubing and sealer to the faceplate. Unit started up. Inspected the heat exchanger and found heavy rust buildup. No warranty on repair. Will contact the factory about the replacement unit. No heat on the Electric air handler. Replaced the 24-volt heat relay inside the air handler that controls the electric duct heater. Cycled and tested.

Tested gas valve voltage and inlet/outlet pressures. Tested blower motor amperage. Found the ignitor and flame sensor to be very corroded. The customer agreed to replace both parts. Replaced thermostat batteries for the customer. Replaced the furnace filter that the customer provided. Giving customer estimates for the replacement of both furnace and ac units. Furnace repair. There was no heat. The inducer motor was running, but that was it. The pressure switch hoses were clogged, preventing the rest of the heating process from continuing. The hoses were cleared out, and the furnace is now heating properly.

Tried to change settings, however, due to the older model, was unable to, and instructed the customer to call Nest's help line. She said it’s through Comed and she may just have them put in a newer model.

Found Schrader core on the liquid line to be faulty, causing refrigerant to leak out of the system. Replaced. Also found the capacitor extremely low and replaced. Added 2lbs of r410 refrigerant. Tested all other mechanical components. Tested compressor amperage and fan motor amperage. Everything else is in an accurate work condition. The system is now clean, cooling, and operating properly at this time.

Sump pump service. A water leak appears to be coming from a hole in the foundation where the pipe is leaving the basement, not the pipe itself. Chipped away loose concrete and applied hydraulic cement, which will hopefully create a seal and resolve the issue. The customer declined free inspection because he’s busy.
