Tightened packing nut on radiator valve, repaired leak on compressor nut for classroom heater, but coil has leak on copper fine, will return and try to braze up to seal leak. Return and tried to braze leak closed. Coil is rusted out, needs replaced.

Commercial heating repair. No heat in the warehouse, unit is a make-up air unit. It brings in 100% outside air and then heats it. Outside filters were completely plugged solid. The HVAC was locked out. Went on the roof and removed the filter, and reset the HVAC unit. The system is now working. Filters need to be washed and reinstalled. Unit #9 is not heating; ordered parts. Replaced the thermostat and rewired the controller wires; the heat is now working. Disconnected low-voltage wires from ac contactor. Will have to repair in the spring

Boiler repair. No heat call. I found the power was off to the unit. Turned the boiler on. Everything started up fine. Waited to make sure pressures got to an acceptable range and temperature. Adjusted pressure / temperature valve. The system is heating and operating properly at this time.

Sump pump service. Ran 1-1/2” PVC from outside bypass 10’ away from house because sump line dumps into open-site drain that freezes. Left a no-hub band to disconnect and bypass in summer.

Commercial steam boiler repair. Leak on the steam line. Removed paneling and found rusted-out piping on the steam line. Cut out bad fitting and repiped.

Bathroom plumbing repair. The shower water pressure to the shower head is fine. When I pull the shower head, the volume of water is great. I cleaned out the shower head screen and hooked the shower head back on. Only about 3/4 of the holes in the head are working. The rest are calcified along with her hand held. Installed a new shower head and handheld shower.

Furnace repair. No heat call. Found manual resettable high limit was tripped, causing the blower to keep running. Very old unit. Usually, when this happens, it’s due to a cracked heat exchanger. I reset the limit and adjusted the gas pressure. The customer is aware of needing a replacement. These are combination units, and we will need to get back to her about pricing. The system keeps popping the limit. Gave the Customer a space heater for the time being. Info tag of existing unit is in pictures!

Water leak. Identified a leak coming from the lead piping on the kitchen drain line. Cut open the wall behind the cabinet and the wall in the basement to replace the lead pipe and tie into the cast iron drain piping.

Commercial heating repair. Inducer motor, a small fan that removes combustion gases, is seized or unable to turn, locked up. Replaced the inducer motor on the furnace. Also cleaned lines to the pressure switch, blew out the condensation trap, and cleaned the flame sensor. Everything is working as it should now.

Main water leak. Suspect a broken water service line between the B-box and where the water service comes into the house. The water line feels like it is running with no leaks in the house, anywhere. Estimate to run new service or make spot repair outside the foundation. Copper water service. It is approximately 36’ from the B-box foundation of the home. Service is approximately 5 to 6’ deep.

Furnace repair. No heat call. Inspected a wall heater. Replaced the thermocouple; however, the gas valve consistently fails to operate when switched on. Recommended replacing the gas valve. The office will provide an estimate for gas valve replacement or a new garage furnace. No charges are incurred today, as more information, parts, and estimates are required.
