Great Service, Terrible Price
Jim - Frankfort, IL
Pete did a fine job. Less than 15 minutes on site. Invoice does not show individual pricing; just a quantity of 1 for Dispatch fee, tank lever handle replacement, $20 off coupon and a member savings of $45.65. Total cost $184.35. I have dealt with PD&M for over 35 years and recommended them to others on numerous occasions.First time I am totally disappointed. Good thingI am a member. if not the cost would have been $250.00....

Day 1, replaced battery on backup sump. Worked find. Day 2, sump died, replaced with new system. 1 hour later alarm for system usage. Day 3, adjusted float level. System back on. Overall, I ask myself was something done (with no malice) that caused the sump to die on day 1. Still think the world of Rudy and will continue to use PDM.
As always, great service

Furnace repair. Found furnace locked out code 5 which is open rollout switch, reset rollout switch, reset furnace. Furnace lite but flame looked lazy not going into burner tubes like they should. Open front burner panel flames look better. Went outside to look at discharge pipes and found the cone is lose and has ice around bottom . Clean ice off glue cone back on go into house and blow out burners with Co2 . Startup furnace flames are better ! I noticed the termination kit is 2 inch with a reducer to 3 inch at the wall. Being a 125,000 BTU furnace this may be right at the board line for fresh air. May need a 3 inch termination kit. Furnace is working as of this date. Work performed on 2/1/2021 this is not a bill but work that was performed. 1/2 inch pen water valve was letting water out. Need to order new valve . AFD 1 was locked out and code 70 was on display. Look at Motor it will not spin, it is locked. I got small pair of channel locks on shaft and freed up. Turn on AFD 1 put on hand pump works . When I flip system over to local and auto system does startup and it runs. I notice every now and then suction pressure drop below 50 psi and the drive shots out a 72 code low suction pressure. When the pressure goes up it clears I am sure, if it stayed down it would lock the drive out. Talked to Rodney and he said to order the pen water valve . Also I flipped the control switch to off, so system will not run. I have pictures of the water valve in photos.
