Even if you lose power, you won't control.

Three reasons to have a battery backup sump pump

  1. A float switch activates a sump pump when water reaches a certain level. When it fails your sump pump fails. A back-up pump helps keep you dry.
  2. If you lose power (during heavy rainstorms, for example), you won't lose control with a battery back-up pump.
  3. If your main sump pump can't keep up with incoming water capacity a battery back-up sump pump is your best flood insurance

A Pro Series Battery Backup Sump Pump is an inexpensive insurance policy that will eliminate the headaches and cost associated with flooding. Choose a single battery or extend pumping time with a double- battery heavy- duty back up pump.

Sump pumps don't last forever

A sump pump, being a mechanical object, sooner or later will fail. If the failure goes unnoticed, it will lead to a flooded basement and costly repairs.

So, these machines should be examined and maintained at least once a year—more often if your pump runs frequently. Depending on your pump’s quality, consider replacing your pump every three to five years. You can keep your old pump as a back-up pump for added security.

Best insurance - regular sump pump check-ups and a back-up sump pump

  • Sump pumps maintenance
    • Check motor - fill pit with water make sure float switch works and pump dicharges water in pit
    • Check float switch - make sure it is unobstructed
    • After Heavy Rainfall - build up of debris is one of the major causes of sump pump failure. It is important that you check your inlet suction screen to make sure that there is no blockage. Check every few months
    • Visual sump pump check. Especially true during persistent rainfall
  • Power outage and your pump stops. Keep your place dry with a battery back-up pump.

Sewage ejector pump repair, maintenance, installation.

Occasionally, a toilet or even a sink needs to be installed below the nearest sewer or septic line, and the waste from the drain must be lifted to the level of the main drain so gravity can take the water away.

A sewage ejector pump solves this problem and is used when wastewater cannot flow to its destination by means of gravity. PDM is an expert in sewage ejector repair, replacement and installation.

We recommend the dependable Pro Series Sewage Ejector Pumps

Need sewage ejector repair?

  • Ejector pump stuck in on position? Chances are the float switch is sticking but you won't know until we actually check the ejector pump.
  • Sewage ejector pit smells? Most likely you'll have to seal pit cover or lid with silicone sealant, gasket or plumbers putty. Inspect any piping opening too. There is a chance the pit sewer vent is clogged.
